Dris

Congrats on the ease of removal of the exhaust stud(XB12SS).
I had to dig one out with carbides last week, actually managed to save the threads!!!

Y'all are getting real good with these write-ups, well done.

Thanks, I was wondering because when I did the valves on mine there were dull areas on the cams, you can see it in this photo in the box, I was wondering if it was normal or an indication of a problem.

In my opinion, the entire top end oiling is suspect. I have seen excessive cam wear, finger pad wear and cam bearing galling on multiple engines. I'm not sure how to address this issue yet, but I will get to it.

Oil can be a issue too. What oil do you guys use. We all know only 10W-40 full sysnthetic should be used in the rotax engines and frequent oil changes are needed and not what comes off the faqctory 20W-50 (becuase HD had no other oil)

I have been using the Lucas motorcycle full synthetic 20W-50 oil however I did see your recommendation for the Motul 10W-40 on your site recently and have picked some up for my next change.

EBR said to use 20W-50 in a 1125. Maybe some with a 1190 will say what oil. HD does have 10W-40 one word WINTER cold
