Put a set of EBC Double H pads on the front of my 1125 a month ago. Now it seems like the brake has a crappy unpredictable feel till it's warmed up. Once the brake system is warmed up it's fine. Any ideas? |

I did a front caliper rebuild kit - super easy, was a huge improvement. Just did the MC rebuild, will be interested to see how that helps |

if you got some $ left over from Christmas...treat yourself to the updated rotor hardware... made a difference on my set up: http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/parts-accesso ries/brakes/front-brake-rotor-mounting-kit.html |

Fresh fluid can make a world of difference too |

Did the "crappy unpredictable feel" happen immediately after changing out the pads? If so and that's the only thing you changed, then that seems to suggest an issue with the pads. I'm not much of a fan of EBC pads--poor grip while cold was one of my complaints. I like the Dunlopad HH+ compound. The part number for the 1125s is SDP993. It's got great stopping power even when cold, strong initial bite, good modulation, no dust worth mentioning, and last forever. That said, if you haven't flushed and bled the brake, I'd give that a shot before pitching the pads. |

Will try fluid replacement first. Bled system after putting everything back together. Don't think that's it. But.... |
