So i knocked my bike off its stand while moving my fatboy and it landed on the right side. Well I was terrified i hurt the frame, but thankfully the pods did their job, and I was curious jut for peace of mind, can you fit the xb frame pucks on a 1125? |

The XBR/S pucks do not fit, maybe the Uly pucks. |

If you look here it still looks like the pods will hit first.

The fork angle and rake are a couple degrees different between the XBR/S and the Uly because of the frame design. Buell Parts has the XBSS/XBX Uly pucks. They are $75 a piece though. |

An R/S frame is also a different shape/size than a Ulysses/Lightning Long frame. |

The Ulysses frame pucks kinda fit. It is not perfect, but it is pretty good. American Sport Bike normally has them in stock. |

hey thats my old 1125R! Sure do miss that machine. There will be a small gap between the frame and puck on the inside of the puck. I had some silicon to fill the gap. If you take your time, it will look just fine (its a small gap). |

This is the best photo I have of the gap I'm talking about. See, not to bad...

Have chat with twin motorcycles about the 1125 frame pucks and ask if they have them ready yet! http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/artikelen.asp?cid=7& aid=224 |

Ive sent my bike flying/flipping on every axis it has, even completely broke off a pod during one of the crashes last year and the tank was still fine without a scratch. Can't see the need for these |

For the most part I agree, and I don't run pucks on my 1125s, but every crash is different, I've seen crash damage where the frame was damaged where the pucks would rest. It is possible (but not guaranteed) that pucks would have prevented that damage). Most of the time the pods alone work great. |
