Okay guys, I've had several tubers and XBs but no 1125s yet. I know with Buells the real value is often different than what KBB/NADA say. What would you guys estimate a 2008 Black 1125R, 4100 miles, two owners, HMF exhaust, EBR Race ECM, Fender eliminator, in perfect condition would be worth. The bike is still on the original tires and all. I found it here locally and am debating picking it up if I can score it for under what it's worth. He's asking $3499 for it which seems like a pretty good price to me as is. I'm hoping I could snag it for $3k. Thanks, Spencer (Message edited by rsm688 on December 18, 2014) |

Sold mine earlier this year for $5k, had 35k miles on it. Reasonably good shape for being 6 years old, never crashed. Anything under that is a steal. |

$3499 is stupid cheap money for an 1125 that's not beat to hell. IMO, a liter-class bike in nice shape is worth at least $4500, give or take, regardless of manufacturer, especially if it's less than 10 years old. You will not in a million years find a better sport bike for $3499. Buy it and love it. |

Run there with cash. Looks like a great deal. My low mile 09 at this mileage needed tires, rear wheel bearings, clutch slave, fork seals, and the calipers rebuilt. Would nt even ride it around until the service is done. Watch for flood damage in thous parts. (Message edited by nikoff90 on December 27, 2014) |

I was selling mine for 2600 bucks with 32000 miles. Everything sorted and was a great bike. That's a fair price. |
