I can't get the throttle cable long enough to fit inside the housing. The hard elbow won't fit in the slot it's supposed to. Didn't think I needed a longer cable. I tried adjusting it at the housing at at the throttle body. Is there any other tricks? Thanks! Tried to upload a pic, it didn't work. |

Thanks brother. I made it work.. I took the metal cap off the throttle line, and cut the material down, essentially making the elbow able to move down the cable more. Was it the right thing to do? Eh, probably not. But it works perfectly! |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/603783.html?1414992280 This was the thread I was reading. But it only said "re-adjust cables as necessary". To me, that meant loosening up at the housing or the velocity stacks. But I actually had to cut the material that goes around the throttle cable and slide the elbow further on to get it to fit in the housing. I tried uploading a pic, but it no workie. If anyone else is doing this mod, I can help with it. |
