So I just got done with the valves and when putting it back together realized that the steering bearings are extremely notchy. Any hints or tips for doing this? I already ordered bearings from americansportbike. Front end is torn down to just the triple trees, as I'm sending the suspension out for a refresh anyways. |

FSM is your friend. Punch them out, press them in. Can't be any harder than wheel bearings. |

Factory Service Manuals. Heck, if I can wrench on one, it can't be that hard |

Once you feel them seat(touch the shoulder), do not press in any further. |

Anytime I do bearings I put them in the freezer overnight. They shrink a bit and slide in easier. |
