I did a search for anyone with the same question, but I got some new tires and the shop told me it's time for new brakes all around. I got quoted 60 a set for the front EBC, but he wasn't sure if I needed 1 set or 2. Anyone know? And I was quoted 35 for the rear. The prices sound about right. But I just need to know about the quantity. Thanks guys. |

One set for front, one set for rear. |

That's what I though since it's only 1 rotor on the front. So I didn't know what he was going for when I was trying to explain only one rotor and he said yes but you need 2 sets for the front. Yeah.... |

I thought I would only need one. But if I look at this fiche I looks like 2 sets. http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/parts.asp?ja ar=2009&model=1A18CC8E-6C17-4C4A-9ECB-A97D4065550A &sid=045EFC88-99EB-4FAC-A093-D4F05638BDC7 |

Instead of one large pad on each side of the rotor, there are two smaller pads on each side thus the two sets. |

the pictures in those ads are not specific to the application, they are stock photo's. I had the same idea when I bought my pads. I ordered two, this gave me a nice new set waiting for the next time. :-) |

OK thanks everyone. I went ahead and told them to get 2 sets and if I didn't need both I would have an extra. Looks like I'll be using both sets. Haha. Can't wait to get her back today with the new Michelin pilot 2 and new brakes. I'm sure I could have done the brakes but they gave me a deal since they were already doing the tires. |

EBC part# FA454/4HH is for the front and contains all 4 brake pads (2 pairs) to service the front caliper. I installed them on my 1125R earlier this year (along with a new EBC rotor) and they work great. |
