Does anybody out there know where to get slip on diverters for the stock muffler? Seems to me this has been covered before. I just can't remember where. I'm putting new wheels on next week and want to keep them clean, or at least cleaner. Thx |

made mine a few years ago a)purchased 90 degree bends from here: http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog/1-75-aluminum-3-00-radius-16-gauge-90-degree-mandrel-bend-654.html b)purchased a cheapo tail pipe expander from Harbor freight (it's only strong enough to expand alum tube...grease the leadscrew before you start...or it might seize and you can't get it out of the tube) c) cut them to shape with a band saw ( might want to buy more than just 2 bent tubes...in case you make a mistake) d) painted them with hi temp black e) "glued" them in place with hi temp silicone gasket goop...been holding for a few years with no troubles)hth

I bought mine from Albert666 and they work and look great. I did have them ceramic coated but that's not necessary |

How much are you selling them for Alan? Do you have a photo of your creations? It's been 2 yrs but hopefully they haven't gone up much in price (Message edited by captjoe on March 18, 2016) |
