I just picked up a PCV and an Autotune to go on top of my EBR ECM and I was wondering if anybody with this combo has their map with the Target AFR's. I am going to use the Dynojet map as a starting point but was hoping to compare it to what others have been doing with theirs. And for those that have been Dyno Tuned what AFR's were your tuner shooting for in the cruise zone and the Acceleration areas? Dynojets refence AFR Targets are all between 13-13.6 which seemed a little rich at cruise and a little lean at high RPM/Throttle. |

Is your EBR ECM not the correct tune? |

Is your EBR ECM not the correct tune? It is the correct tune, but with any canned tune there is always room for improvement. (Message edited by Northernyankee on September 11, 2014) |

Pcv's aren't common on 1125's. I can only recall one post about them. I believe the benefit didnt justify the expense. Let us know how it pans out. |

If you go through the Archives there are a good deal of posts about it...Firemanjim seemed to have some good results so I am hoping he pops his head in. |

Put a V on top of the EBR ecm on my 1125 and tuned it here, was really nice and smooth after.Ran bike with speed sensor disconnected so I could watch AFV and when they showed 100 disconnected them. But need O2 sensors turned off or disconnected. What pipe? May have a map. |

Thanks Jim! I got the PCV in and am going to try and do the Autotune tonight. Preliminary results with just the PCV are good. I used the canned map from Dynojet for an HMF Exhaust/K&N Filter and Race ECM, this totally fixed the last bit of low RPM surging that I had(which is the whole reason I decided to do this). But with that map the Butt Dyno says that I lost some on the top end, I think that the Dynojet map is too rich up top so one i get the Autotune hooked up I should be able to get that worked out. All in all this has been worthwhile for me. |

this totally fixed the last bit of low RPM surging that I had Good to know. FMJ mentioned this when I saw him at Laguna Seca, but I'll admit that I've been a little skeptical. The surging is really quite annoying, IMHO. Now I just need to find a good deal on a PCV for my CR. Was hoping to not need an Autotune, however. FMJ - you WILL be hearing from me about this (eventually), 1313 |

1313 are you going to want any help on the install of the PC-V ? |

1313...you don't have to get the Autotune. I happened to come across a smoking deal on a lightly use AT-300 which then meant I had to get a PCV...lol You could go out and get a dyno Tune instead for about $200 or you could go and do a hybrid approach and only have the PCV modify fuel in the cruise area 0-20% Throttle and under 6000RPM. That way you get rid of the surging but leave the rest to what EBR had it set at. |

The PCV canned maps are always rich to make sure no one complains that they burnt up their motor---- |

I ran a FMF slip on with a EBR race ecm tuned for it. slapped on a PCV and gained 5 RWHP putting me at 139-140 RWHP |

George - Yeah the EBR ECM is a night and day difference from stock, but was never perfect. I am just hoping to smooth out the rough edges with the PCV, and if I 5RWHP like you that will be an awesome bonus. So far I built a good single base map with a long ride up to the EBR Demo Day last Thursday. Yesterday I advanced the map to each cylinder and am going to build that out for a few days. Then sometime next week I am going to hook up the Speed Sensor and build out the maps for each gear. I am definitely learning a lot with this AutoTune, I have had Power Commanders on other bikes but the AT takes it to a whole new level of tuning...its awesome! |

so did you guys get good results with your Autotune? I am thinking of going this route also because I hope I can get rid of my low rpm surging and I get some around 5K also. I have an EBR ECM and a Drummer exhaust. |
