I took my belt off and was putting it all back together and noticed the rear pulley is wobbling up and down (not in and out) a bit like just about 1mm. Is this normal? or is it supposed to be perfectly precise? | ||

like it has warped diagonally not from side to side. But i have never really looked at the sprocket with the belt and being a cast pullet who knows if it was ever completely round? | ||

I would look for impact marks, incorrect install - re install remotely a possible factory defect | ||

Missing the pinch bolt under the left side of the swingarm will make the axle move back and forth. | ||

NOt sure about this. I lost the pinch bolt and everything seems to be ok. Isn't the pinch bolt to prevent the axle from backing out? | ||

When my pinch bolt was forgotten, the axle slipped. The sprocket and belt began to rub against the inside of the swingarm. It seemed to slip slightly forward and to the left but in terms of riding, I didn't really notice a difference. It was the damage that caught my attention first. | ||

Thanx guys. Just checked my buddys pulley and it was perfectly straight. axel pinch bolt was fine hmmm weird. bought a new on ebay. will see how that goes. |
