hey fellow 1125rs i could use some feedback i just outfitted my 08 1125r with k@n filter barkers exhaust, ebr ecm tuned for barkers, top airbox cover removed,i reset tps all in parameters.only difference i notice is better throttle responce.i still have the 3-5k surge. other threaders claim big improvement 8k and above i dont notice any mid to high rpm change.my buddy has a cbr 929rr and before mods i would pull away from him at the top of 2nd gear and keep pulling. he now pulls me about a bike and i dont make it back up till i hit 4th gear.i thought maybe top airbox cover off was affecting this, but its actually worse with cover on he actually pulls away from me.is it possible ebr ecm issue ???? any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Go into diagnostic mode (hole Toggle and Mode on dash, turn key on), then tab through till you get to the TPS percentage screen, it should smoothly scroll from (if I remember right) 5%-100% as you twist the throttle. |

Removing the inner airbox helps improve flow at low speeds, but you definitely lose power at about ~60 mph due to not having the ram air effect. |

dhays1775 you are exactly correct when bike was stock. since changes this is not the case it is worse with airbox cover on by far im confused tps was set properly and all parameters are in spec in diag mode.i have not done the denoid but i cant see that having anything to do with it.any help would be helpful. |

Maybe the ecu is bad. Reverse everything and see if it still lacks power. |

If the cable for the solenoid is binding, it can pull on the throttle causing your symptoms. Next time you have the airbox off, disconnect the cable that goes to the throttle body. You don't need to do a total denoid procedure, just simply disconnecting that linkage would fix the issue if it is that. |

Race ECM doesn't need the resistor even if you totally remove the solenoid. |
