Harleyms, I got the tracking number. As soon as it comes in, your money will be back in your account. If there's anyone else in line, let me know and I can have it back in the mail Saturday afternoon. I think Rotarydave is next in line. Am I correct in this assumption? |

Wonderful! I've been tiptoeing around, avoiding riding on hot days. As a result my 2009 1125R has only 3,200 miles. I can't wait to be able to ride this thing whenever I want without worry. Dhays, would you like payment in advance? |

Rotarydave, I'll do the same thing that I did with Harleyms. PayPal $65 to me, minus the $5 for me to send it to you, then once I receive the tool back, I send $60 back to you. The tool should be back here on Saturday, so if I have your deposit and address before it comes in, I can have it back in the mail same day. Sound like a plan? |

Sl33py, you can finish the rotor swap this weekend and send your core back to EBR for your deposit. just follow the manual, and you'll be fine. and the rewound stator can be put back on the bike later. garbage bags work great to keep out debris from engines Skntpig, i outlined the process in the first post on this thread. i have a cam locking tool, and i don't think anyone else is waiting for it. you pay shipping and ill hold your deposit in paypal. rental fee donation would be appreciated if you feel so inclined, but is not AT ALL necessary. Sl33py is using my crank locking tool now, so you could wait for him to finish using it or get someoene else's if you wanted to check your rotor and counter balancer nut while you had the engine down for service |

Not sure why, but I didn't get that PM reply. Am I the only one having trouble with the PMs? Anyway, it's really great to see such a strong community for these under appreciated machines! |

Rotarydave, I responded to your email. Something about the PM's, sometimes they go through, sometimes they don't. Let me know if you got it. At this point, to reduce the chance of a PM disappearing, please send me an email. dhays1775@hotmail.com |

Awesome David...the USPS was actually faster than advertised...someone should write that down hah My CR only has 1400 miles on it and the stator already looked like it was suffering, one half of it the epoxy was darker and it had tiny cracking starting from the heat I suppose...at the very least though the revised rotor should make it last a while longer and if the stator goes out I can replace just that without having to mess with the rotor again Thanks again for those of you willing to loan out your hard to get a hold of tools. btw...torquing something that moves to 298ft/lbs by yourself when you only weigh 150 wet is kinda tricky |

Thanks again to Dhays1775! My new rotor is installed and the stator epoxy is discolored but not cracked, so I'm hoping I caught it in time. Now for a valve adjustment, clutch slave rebuild, patch harness removal... I weigh 190lbs and used a swing arm stand, and it was still a bit of a process to get the proper torque applied on the rotor nut. Bravo to the 150lb guy doing that job! |

Somebody needs to come along and sticky this thread at this point. I have a feeling it isn't going away anytime soon. THIS...this camaraderie is the reason I love BadWeb. |

Sticker is from PNW Uly. Thanks for the loan! Timing couldn't have been better that PNW Uly and i were able to get both bikes done that week i had the tool. I think you should keep $5-10 per loan, here's why. Wear and tear, even on a hardened steel tool it would be good to make sure you have one in the future if this one gets slowly beat up by us folks borrowing it. We tried to be careful of course, but i know a bit of wear just happens anyway. I'm sending $10 back, and recommend those that can afford it do the same. It's not a fee - just a bit of a thank you and hopefully if you need to get another tool down the road you'll have the $ for it and will continue to loan it out. Thanks man! Rob |

It is absolutely unnecessary, but I do appreciate it! I thought about asking for a rental fee, but that's not why I wanted to do it and not my motivation for starting this thread. If my locking tool wears out and needs replaced, I'll be overjoyed to have helped out so many buellers. I'll keep offering this service as long as I have the tool. I hope others do so, as well |
