I'm sure this has probably been discussed, but that was before my time. What is the logic behind the cluster layout? AT - which is normally air temperature, is actually AIT - air intake temperature - well why do I want to know that? How is that meaningful data? Do racers need that? It would be great to have gear, volts and coolant temp - all things I actually do want to know. Sure, you can try and scroll through, but most of the times the buttons don't want to work, in gloves or not, so....I don't often change screens, since I don't feel like pressing buttons 78 times to get them to work once. PIA to try to get to diagnostic mode as it is. Lastly, anyway to pull the plastic cover? Have some condensation that left a mark, would be nice to clear it. Rant off! | ||

The 2009 cluster does have gear,volts,coolant temp. my 08 cluster works fine. | ||

I've had an 08 and have a 09 now. The buttons weren't great on either Yes, the 09 has gear, volts, coolant, but as stated not on a single display, and switching isn't easy AT seems worthless to me (Message edited by sprintst on July 28, 2014) | ||

AT is good for riding Phoenix in the summer so you know how miserable you are. My highest AT: 156 degrees sitting in traffic. (Message edited by ljm on July 28, 2014) | ||

156...ouch Sometimes I feel like my bike is a bastard. I have AT and CT on the same screen, but no gear indicator anywhere on any mode. Plug up the stock ECM and all I have it AT and CT COLD no other modes. | ||

I kind of wish in "lap timer mode" that the MPH showed gear position instead of speed... And the smaller readouts on the bottom showed voltage and coolant temp at the same time. How difficult would it be to change all of this? (Not that I will ever do it, but it WOULD be cool...) |
