Hi In the midst of my engine rotation for valve check and this wire is being stressed. Discovered it during one of my routine checks before dropping the engine down a bit more. It runs up with the harness towards the front fairing/gauge cluster area. Can anyone tell me what this is and where I can disconnect it?

Nice observation lol but I was referring to the wire my finger is on. I am at work for the day so I will have no time to mess with it today. Posted it up here hoping someone would recognize it.

Looks like fan motor wire to me, but hard to tell. IAT sensor is behind second finger joint, but that looks like a different wire.

That looks like the same wire I had get tight on me. It is the horn. It goes between the horn on the front of the engine to the horn button near the left grip. I left it as it was. I decided it was not worth it to try and fish it all out of the harness. Don't let my picture confuse at all. I had my front forks off for service also.

That's the horn wire. I forgot to unplug the horn and snapped off the wire. Heard a little tink and knew exactly what it was.

Oops...

Thanks for the info guys. Just to confirm, yes it was the horn wires. The horn was actually the first thing I disconnected and completely removed in an attempt to avoid this situation. However the wires were wrapped around and ziptied to the main harness. Hence the tension.
