Where are you supposed to apply the silicone grease that comes with the rebuild kit? I didn't do anything with it the last 2 times I've rebuilt the caliper. |

Hmm, just did mine and didn't use it either. As I recall, their were instructions that said it's for the pins. I use my own lithium grease, which is why I didn't use it. |

Did you lube the pistons or their seals? If it's not caliper pin grease or pad glue, I bet that's what it's for. |

Per the manual, You lube the seals and pistons with the brake fluid (Message edited by sprintst on June 25, 2014) |

Grease is for the pins, so the pads slide cleanly in and out when you apply/release the brakes. |
