So im building a race bike out of my 1125cr and im wondering what my options are for running a quick shifter and setting up tune? Iv only got the standard ECM. Can i use the side stand switch to run the quick shifter? or does it need to run through the ECM or something? For tuning can i use "Tuner pro" or "ECMSPY" or something like that? or is a power commander a better option? |

Get an EBR Race ECM. It has the quick shifter programed into the sidestand switch. |

Can i program the EBR race ECM myself? This engine is 15.5:1 + and a custom exhaust so the fuel map will need to be changed |

If i remember correctly, I was able to program my regular race ECM with Tuner Pro. Perhaps someone else can confirm. |

You can program any ECM if you have ECMSPY. I think it's just a legal thing that you'd want to have the programmable ECM. Either that, or they set it up as best they can for you to start based on your exhaust, etc. |

if you keep the stock ecm and program it you will still need to piggyback a quickshifter module to run the quickshifter. bazazz or dynojet can help with that. tim |
