I wouldn't ride it, I would hang it on the wall. I was at NJMP the day Danny won the AMA title in 2009, and I got his second signature right after he won the championship, so it is quite sentimental to me |

It looks like they changed the tire before listing it

also, really cool find, I, too, would like to have this, very cool piece of Buell history, one of the bikes that won a national championship |

A harsh bit of reality for us 1190RS owners as to what these bikes are now worth. |

They ended it early, might have received a private offer? So, unsure what the selling price was of the Eslick bike. I wish I knew what the actual asking price is of the Macau bike....that's a tempting setup. http://blog.rsracecraft.com/store#!/~/product/category=9145040&id=36148593 |

Ah the memories. What a great time for Buell road racing. Slick was the only one who could get that bike to work. I have fond memories of camping out at Fontana when he got his first wins on the Buell. My buddies and I got a great picture with him after his first win. He was outside his RV, all by himself, and was nice enough to end a cell phone call to socialize with us a bit. It's certainly not the same anymore at the AMA races...Danny is a truly a nice guy. |

Concerning that Splitlath 1190 that was raced in Macau. The Ebay ad said it is in Portland Oregon right now, does anyone know why? How did it come to be there if Splitlath is based in Hong Kong? |

That bike is actually owned by RSRacecraft. |

Duane - it says in the article that its an AMA bike raced by RSR, so thats likely why Splitlath is, likely, just the sponsor. |

I live in Portland too, raced OMRRA for years and never heard of these guys. Now I see they are associated with the local Harley shop. Ahh.. got it now. |
