Send me your email and I will email pics to you. This bike is absolutely stunning and the best looking Buell I've ever seen.

This was originally an 1125CR and as upgraded it makes about 145 HP and weighs about 410 lbs. with a full tank of gas. Improvements as follows:
Conversion to R gearing and body work (Original parts to convert to CR gearing available)
Custom mounts for Givi hard bags
Front wheel from 2014 1190 RX model
Front disc from 2014 1190 RX model-better feel
Front forks (Showa big piston) from 1190RX model
Convertibars an custom brake lines to fit (these are high bars that can be raised or lowered in about 5 minutes)
100% carbon fiber body work from the US and Germany with Ilmberger belly pan - It's mounted right to compensate for the thinner bodywork. I took my time with it.
Custom paint job
Buell racing exhaust with tuned Buell ECM to match
K&N air filter
Forged rear wheel from Germany - lighter
Brembo big piston rear brake - you actually can feel the rear brake now - better for street
Wired for GPS and radar detector (Escort type with water proof box). Plug and play for both. (radar screamer needs fixing but an easy fix and cheap)
New sport touring tires - Dunlop
Braking rear brake disc - lighter
Machined toe pegs made by a friend of mine - easier to get your foot on
Corbin seat-much more comfortable on long trips
Shorai battery - saved about 7 lbs.
Upgraded the alternator rotor to prevent stator burnout and put in new stator. I've put about 2500 miles on it since I did this and Buell reports no failures after this modification.
Bigger clutch slave cylinder for easier clutch pull. Aluminum and no corrosion or leaks.
Custom made hard bag mounts for Givi hard bags. Very light and come off with 5 bolts. No off the shelf hard bags are available so I had some mounts custom made to fit readily available bags.
Throttlemeister throttle lock
Zero Gravity sport touring windshield
Ohlins steering damper
Fender eliminator with turn signal built into rear LED tail light
It's got a brand new belt on it.
Upgraded Showa shock for the rear-adjustable for compression and rebound damping and preload.
Fender eliminator and turn signal integrated into rear tail light.
Probably some other things I'm not thinking of.

I did all of the work myself (except the paint and bag mount fabrication) so I know it's done right.

This is just a great street bike. Comfortable for long trips and fast. 200+ mile cruising range.

$11k or best offer.

So exactly how did you manage to score a 2014 1190 RX front wheel assembly? Not even dealers have much in the line of luck in getting spare parts right now.

200+ mile cruise range? You have extra fuel stored onboard?

Pics would help any potential buyers.

Having technical problems getting a pic to upload. Email me.

EBR told me I was the only guy with a wheel of the RX1190 adapted to fit the 1125R.

It's a bearing and spacer change, though I've been informed any number of times how 1190 parts won't fit on the 1125r.

Does not appear to be an 1190 front wheel, looks like a modded 1125 re-finished in yellow, caliper marked ztl2, EBR rotor

Nice custom rear wheel and custom disc
might have an after market exhaust 2 pipes visible at frame edge like EBR custom exhaust

looks nice and a great job on the bags.
ask for recipts on parts and work......

see photos of wheel and brake

Oldog, I thought the same, it is just the angle. From the side on it looks very similar, but if you look closely you can see the difference. The XB/1125 wheel has perfectly parallel spokes, while the 1190RX wheel has a slight inward angle as it goes from hub to the rim.

1125R:

1190RX:

I'm with Froggy on this one- the 1125 and 1190RX wheels are pretty distinctly different, especially if you look at the attachment of the spokes to the hub area.

It doesn't have holes in the hub like the xb wheel.

Dean, 200+ fuel range is very possible. 38mpg is all you would need to get to pull that on an 1125. Its not hard to pull 38mpg. You just have to do the speed limit... I guess that can be hard to on an 1125! lol

BTW beautiful bike!

Looks like an 1190 wheel to me. No holes in the hub. where the spokes meet the hub there is an arch instead of being squared off. regardless, VERY NICE.

Froggy
I could not find your far side pic, I definitely missed the spokes from the near side shot also the prominent thru holes in the 1125 thanks for the correction,

Sorry Lentz My mistake

The calipers are almost identical outside I have to believe that they are the same inside ( perhaps cooling air channels? )

the Tail has no seam for the removable cover for a passenger seat, I presume that the bike is for solo use, ( I have bags on mine and want to do heil bars... )

I have personal experience with three flavors of the front caliper on 1125r and now 1190rx machines.

All three flavors are interchangeable as far as mount-up is concerned. They all use the same 3/8-16 bolts and spacing pattern.

Flavor one is the stock 1125r caliper. No secrets there.

Flavor two is the "full race" caliper, as seen on the 1190RR and 1125RR race special, sometimes called the "ZTL 2.5". In this model the pad retaining springs are removed, and the caliper is milled down to only one seal per piston. A lot of weight and material is removed from each half of the caliper, but what's important is the increase in air flow for cooling.

The 1190RX is much closer to the original 1125r part, but has a bigger opening in the casting to accommodate the cooling duct. There may be other minor differences as well, but it uses two seals on each piston, has retaining springs, and so on that make it more appropriate in a street application, but still an improvement over the original 1125r caliper.
