Thanks Dean! Sucks getting old and forgetting stuff. I know when i talked with them they said the FMF ECM was their race dialed in version (thought by Eslick, but either not him or i just plain recall incorrectly). If i ever get un-lazy and find spare time i'll get it re-dyno'd. Seat of pants says more power and dyno'd it before install. Thanks! |

SI33 no this isn't the factory system for the 1125. I could not justify paying$1200 for a muffler that I would have to modify to fit the bike properly. QD did not respond to my inquiry about the ecm that they used and EBR told me that they had no experience with this particular exhaust. (Message edited by AJ2010 on July 31, 2014) |

The guy at the welding shop wants no gaps before he welds the various parts together. Between work and camping my project has been sitting a while. Back to work on it this weekend. I will post pictures once I have the muffler back from the shop. |

I got sidetracked again. I was not happy with the smaller diameter of the exhaust pipe that I planned to use and I never liked the look of the stock pipes where they meet at the collector. So I have gone back to work on parts of the cooling system that I had planned to leave until later. Once this bit is done then I will either attempt to fit together some of the oem exhaust pipes or have someone who knows what they are doing, build the pipes for me. |

Haha, that would be the easy way out. Unfortunately I almost never seem to be smart enough to take the easy way. You wouldn't happen to have anything that drops down the right hand side without protruding any further forward than the starter would you? I have had to remove the stock exhaust pipes in order to mount the lower rad. My last (unscientific) tests with the reverse air flow through the rads dropped the coolant temperature by about fifteen degrees. The current version should do even better once completed. The addition of the Ducati Panigale lower rad should help by increasing coolant volume and keep temps down at lower speeds and stop and go in town. |

Ok, decided to give it a try with reworking the original exhaust pipes. I have an E-Bay rear pipe on it's way. I think that should give me enough bits of pipe to see whether or not I am going to be able to do a decent job of it. If not at least I can order an 1190 rear exhaust pipe and only have the front one to worry about. And I will have a spare oxygen sensor that comes with the E-Bay pipe. |
