Just like heading says, I have a Penske 8900 series for sale that came off a 2009 Buell XB 12r. A 1125r owner wanted to know if it would fit, and I dont know.

the length is wrong. i cant remember if the xb shock is a couple inches longer or shorter than the 1125 one

1125 shock is longer. I've seen a standard length XB shock used to lower an 1125.

You will have to find a location to mount the shock reservoir.

Anyone have length differences? I have a XB penske on my 1125R and want to have it modded to stock 1125R length.

I want to say the 1125r should be set up with a rear shock in the 325-328mm range, but I can't remember the numbers off the top of my head and the details are on my laptop at the track.
