i have the 1125 tools and while i'm not using them, i am willing to lend them out to other forum members in order to help everyone keep their bikes on the road. the terms 1. you pay shipping both ways. USPS flat rate boxes are $5.80 2. i hold your deposit in Paypal until you return the tools without damage. 3. you transfer funds to me as a 'gift' or 'to family/freind' to avoid losing 3% on every transaction. i'm not doing this as a new business venture, and i am not trying to loose money on it. i'm trying to be nice. 4. be EXPEDIENT. don't hold on to the tools for a month and make others wait to use them while you doddle. i know there will be some down time, but lets all try to minimize it. 5. don't loose, steal, sell, break or damage the tools. these are MY tools and i fully expect them to be returned to me in still useable and serviceable condition. the deposit is just that. A DEPOSIT i've all ready sent them to DennisC and just mailed them off to Stirz007. post up if you need them and we will go in order of post and timeline/schedule. if guy A posts first and isn't ready to work until 2 weeks out, but guy B is ready to work; he can get the tools first and send them directly to guy A at the 2 week mark. |

Hey Nillaice I don't want to Step on your toes here but I am willing to do the same for anyone in Canada that would like to do the same,I have the crank locking tool and it is sitting in my tool box till next winter. The same terms as above I think it would be to expensive to ship to you guys in the states but who knows. Mike |

No toes stepped on at all!! I'm not trying to get the monopoly on helping other buellers. It'd be great if everyone with a spare locking tool would post up and let others borrow them. And I'm sure the postal service would like it too! |

It would be great if one of the moderators would make this thread "sticky" so it does not get lost five pages down. Chuck |

Striz007 I'm glad the tools arrived. I hope you can get back in the saddle soon! Buellhusker posted this and I think it's worth re-posting it did not require a locking tool to remove the rotor from my 09 CR I just used a 1/2 inch impact. If your stator has craped out you wont be riding the bike anyway so you can remove the rotor to be sent back for core credit. There are locking tools from other BadWebers that will loan it to you for reassembly. This would minimze your down time and get you your deposit immediately. ...you wouldnt be riding a bike with a melted stator anyway, but I realize that every situation is different and some may not be able to do this. This is one of the many reason why I love owning a Buell. We have a great community, especially within the 1125 group. |

Hey Nilaice. I didn't find one locally. For whatever reason I'm not receiving messages in my email. I'll just ask you here I suppose. How much is the deposit and what is your paypal address? Also how would I set up paying for shipping to me, should I just pay you ahead for it? Sorry for the hold up on my part, I know other people are waiting to borrow the tool as well. Thanks for everyones patience in the matter. I sent you a pm kinda explaining this to you, not sure if my pm's are even going out. |
