Doing my due-diligence with the search engine but coming up short. Somewhere I read about an option to the torx bolts to fasten the seat down. If I understood the writeup, there is a simpler way than fighting the stock bolts. Getting ready to order a Saddleman TRCF and would like to get the "improved" fastener hardware at the same time. Someone point me in the right direction.... |

Make sure you tell him it's for an 1125, not an XB. Threads are different. Al's good, he'll pay attention and get you the right part |

I bought the seat pins a while back, and just recently picked up the Saddlemen seat. HUGE improvement on the seat, and I'm ashamed at myself for not picking one up sooner. As for the seat pins, as Ratbuell said, click the right box for the 1125 and not the Firebolt. They're easy to install, and I haven't had an issue with them yet. Makes taking the seat off a tool-less job as well. I haven't done it myself, but I've heard about people putting a spare belt under the seat, and the seat pins make for easy access on the side of the road. |

Already have a confirmation from Al on my seat and pins-kit order. My azz is thanking me already. :-) |

Aaaarrrrggghhh! Seat out of stock! Al says about two week delay. I can live with that....might just ride the WeeStrom for a couple of weeks. :-) |
