New to the forum and I'm doing the VR upgrade. I took the HD harness off but I'm having a hard time figuring out what this connector is that goes to the harness. It goes down the left side of the engine and when I put the de-noid resistor in place it doesn't have anywhere to connect. Was it installed as part of the band aid harness and I can leave it hanging or is there something else going on? |

Its not needed. It was used to activate the relay |

Shawn is correct. The wire was connected to the ECM to switch the relay on and off. Clip it and you're done. Or leave it. Up to you. |

When I took the HD harness out all my connectors were accounted for with paired gender connectors. One was populated with the denoid resistor plug. |
