Does anybody know what type sensors are compatible with the fully configurable race ECM. I believe the standard sensors are the inexpensive digital on/off rich/lean type. I want to use the more expensive analog type that change the return voltage between +5V and ground depending on the sensed mixture. The latter sensors will detect mixtures between 18 to 1 and 10.5 to 1. The latter sensors are required for a data logger and my preferred choice, but I'm not sure on the compatibility to the race ECM. |

I may need to clarify my query. The two types of O2 sensors are sometimes referred to as wide band and low band where the analog version is wide band. Secondly, the ECM I am referring to is the fully programmable race version not the re-branded standard ECM with new firmware. (Message edited by steve-l on January 13, 2014) |

Wide Band Bosch will work, but the race ECM does not use the data. It will pass the data through to the serial out for logging, if that's what you are going for, but IMHO it's better to use a bypass the ECM. I have a setup, but can't remember the brand. I'll check when I'm at the shop. |

Rodrob, Are you saying that the race ECM does not utilize any closed loop control? Also,, it appears the LC2 is single channel and can only handle one cylinder, so you actually need two? |

I run a pair of PLX Devices on my 1125 and a pair of MTX-L's on my XB. Both show me the wideband data, neither one runs it into the ecm though, they only get the narrow band signal. |

The race ECM that I have does not run in closed loop. Yes you need two if you want to log both cylinders simultaneously. (Message edited by rodrob on January 14, 2014) |
