So it's time to check the valves. Unfortunately I don't have the time so I'm going to try out a new independent shop and see if they can handle it. I want to go in there with everything that they will need. I have heard about valve shim kits for the 1125 but didn't find anything in a search. Anyone know the best place to get a kit? Also wondering best spark plugs for our application. Thanks in advance. |

Same shims as the VROD shims. If you have a harley store near you, they should have what you need. I just figured out what I needed and went to the harley store and got the specific shims. Around 3 bucks a pop. |

I hope they have a service manual for the 1125R and follow it. Even though the procedure is not overly difficult, being mechanically inclined just isn't enough to avoid expensive mistakes. Just my 2 cents. |

Agreed ^ . I have only used these spark plugs the two times that I have done the valve check/spark plug change...http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/18017.html |

Go OEM. Using that NGK plug for racing and it lasts a whole season! |
