Hey, So today I backed my 1125r down my driveway, went to start it and it did a half turn then click, it died. Took it back into the garage and started digging. I have the battery on the tender but may be a battery issue. I try to start the bike with 12 volts on battery and click, all the lights and HUD goes black and I'm not able to turn the bike back on for a few minutes. I checked all the fuses and relays and their all good. Hooked my battery to a jumper box and it tried to start. I got alot of clicking from the starter relay and the lights would flicker. I give it a little throttle and it tries. Well then I decided to take off the airbox and gain access to the throttle bodies. I try to start it again and i cover up the breather hose on the right side of the throttle bodies and build up a vacuum, release my finger and boom, It Starts! I runs fine but the minute I disconnect my battery the bike dies. I do have a Comm Error, Low fuel Error, and IAC Error. Please I need help, this is my daily transportation and I do have a good grasp on mechanics and electrics being I'm and aircraft electrician. Please Help with some ideas! |

I meant to say 12 is considered a dead battery. Your bike should be charging 14. |

So I should have 14 volts even thought is a 12 volt battery? Even with the battery hooked up to a jumper it was reading 13.9 and was still just clicking when i tried to start it. |

I had the same issue and I took my battery to a guy who just does batteries and he told me that 12 volts is considered a dead battery, I bought a new one and it was fine. I don't know if that's your issue or not but these bikes really need a good battery. I was quite confused when my bike was doing the same thing as your discribing and the new battery was all it was. |
