So, I goofed… Unfortunately my weekend consisted of a fatal mechanical error; failure of kickstand deployment . I kicked it out, but I didn't get it past the halfway point and it snapped back up. This resulted in a bruised hip and shoulder, as well as some damage to the ego; strictly cosmetic, of course. Good news is I rode away from it, and I verified my bank angle sensor works (hooray). I fell over in a church parking lot, and the words that escaped my mouth were less than holy. (Thankfully no one was there at the time!) I wasn’t moving when I fell so bike damage is minimal; I scuffed up my left pod, scuffed the left mirror, broke the master cylinder for the clutch (apparently the clutch lever was stronger than the master cylinder), scuffed the bar end plug, put a little gouge in the ignition cover, and scuffed the ignition cover puck. I checked with Ronin on parts and they’re cleaned out at the moment (and understandably very busy with the Ronin project). I know American Sport Bike has most of the parts I need, but I wanted to stop by the forum first. I’m looking for: White Pod (Left) (willing to buy a set) Clutch Master Cylinder and Lever Mirror (Left) (also willing to buy pair) Ignition Cover Ignition Cover Puck Bar end plug I’ve had no luck finding a new clutch master cylinder; does anybody know where I could source one? In other news, I’m in the market for a Red 1125R fairing for another project, but my main goal at the moment is to locate the above parts and get the princess back to princess condition. In other other news, I listed “clutch lever” on my list of needs. I’ve seen many people recommend changing out the control levers and raving about the difference. Can someone brief me on the “what and why” on this? Sorry for the 3 topic post, but it beats making three separate posts. And yes, I’ll probably put an ad in “WTB”, but I had other questions to tag along with my story. -Ride safe Nick |

If the price if comparable, you might think about upgrading to the radial master cylinder. It is considered a pretty solid upgrade. |

Are you sure need a whole master cylinder? Typically it is only the lever that gets damaged. American Sport Bike some of the parts you need like a lever and radiator cover, your local Buell dealer has the rest. |

Danny, I see what you did there! I'll check Latus. Good idea Jim, I'll look into it. Thanks for checking Eric, let me know what you find! Froggy: Pictures below show damage to the master cylinder. Lever just sustained a scratch.
