Hi Ohioburrhead. I don't know how to fix them but I have a pair of like new stock mirrors off of my previously sold 2009 1125CR. $30 each plus $7.00 shipping. email me and/or paypal me the money at mgelberd@aol.com if you want one or both of them. Thanks Mort |

OBH - welcome to the BadWeB. The signal/mirrors can be taken apart, but not easily. The adhesive on the mirror releases in boiling water, then all the parts are obvious. Looks like you have an "R", so do I. I tried to make the OEM mirrors work to no avail. I use my marker lights as front signals, Firebolt mirrors bolt right in.

Once upon a time I removed my fairing to install HID's. After reassembling everything, the turnsignals worked backwards. Like if I pushed the left signal button, the L rear would flash and the F right would flash. I checked the wiring and it wasn't backwards. the problem resolved itself after 15 or 20 miles. That doesn't really pertain to your question but I just wanted to share. |

hey zac did you have to take the front end off to make the running lights into turn signals? I was looking at my bike and it seems i'll have to take the whole front end off to convert them. |

OBH - No. I re-routed the wiring with the fairing in place. It is really easy to remove tho, especially after de-wiring the mirrors. To remove the fairing, pull the mirrors(10mm socket) and the 4 Torx at the bottom, 2 each side. With Firebolt mirrors, there's no wiring to pull thru, just 2 nuts each mirror. Firebolt mirrors work really well, change from full tuck to sitting upright with a flick. You can also tell the difference between a semi, a Kia or a State Trooper in the mirror. Z |
