My new-to-me 2008 came with what the previous owner advertised an an APH pipe. I do not see anything that looks like this with the dual canisters on their web site. Anyone recognize this setup?

looks like a catalytic converter to me. Cut it off and the junk yard will buy it. |

I dunno for sure just looks that way to me. Seems a bit odd to put a can before a can....just screams cat to me. |

I don't know the bike's history. Had an AL title prior to the TN title where I bought it. Figure if it were a CA model, maybe the Cat was required. Maybe I can ask the APH guy about it. Does he speak to mere mortals?? :-) Edit: cannot contact APH. The site does not recognize my 256- area code as a valid phone number! I knew being from AL would cause me a problem one of these days. :-) (Message edited by ron47 on October 11, 2013) |

Got it, thanks. Info request submitted. Phone number format does not accept the "-" symbol. Doh (slapping forehead". |

Kudos to Alan for taking the time to answer. I am unaccustomed to that kind of customer service. Your product is first-rate Alan. |
