Man this BMW S1134RR is insane. Might go that route with my S1000RR. http://www.s1000rrforum.com/forum/bmw-s1000rr-gene ral-discussion/54113-kws-ballistic-s1134rr-project .html |

right? thats my question, yea you get stupid power, but for an obnoxious price! The 1190 is the best bang for your buck by farm and you already complained about the S1K, and since its new it would void warranty and other jazz... however this being said, you could just be posing a hypothetical scenario and showing how crazy the S1K could be built lol Jake |

You can't even compare the two. Different generations of motorcycles |

Yeh I'm not really going to dump that kind of coin in a bike I haven't even paid off yet. I just like the fact that they are getting close to 250 whp. I can't imagine what that must be like. You're right I didn't like the S1k at first but it has really grown on me. It's really come alive with this drier cooler weather and I think the rings might be fully seated now. It's making some nice power in the mid range. I still had to get myself another 1125 and I will be putting the 1190 kit on it this winter. |

S1000 is a grenade. Few (if any) of them have made it through an expert season without blowing up. It's a built motor straight from the factory, and building it more is just asking for less reliability out of already the least reliable motor on the grid. |

Oh great just what I wanted to hear....LOL. well mines street only so maybe it will hold up to my abuse. Didn't a S1K HP4 comp bike just win FIM Superstock? (Message edited by figorvonbuellingham on October 10, 2013) |

My shop has two s1000rrs we road race both make about 200hp with bolt ons and engines have been solid for two years on both bikes They are FAST, but you can't use the power on the street. The 1125/1190 it's a great street bike, sure it's down 50hp but it's a beast of a street bike. Useable power > Peak |

It is a great street bike. That's why I got another one. I do have a lot of fun on the S1K especially on country roads. I've never been on a track but I kind of consider the rural roads within a 30 mile radius of my house ....a track. I get that bike wound up past 12,000 rpms quite a bit and it is q handful up there. Just like the 1125 is a handful right after I whack the throttle. |

Never mind, I phrased that wrong, they work well on the street. Just I think an 1190 with 50less horsepower can use more of its potential on the street then the BMW can. (Message edited by deanh8 on October 10, 2013) |

The S1000 is insanely quick--over 10K RPM. Midrange power feels like a 750, but top end, I couldn't imagine wanting more power, at least on the street. It would hit 140mph ridiculously quickly. |
