Didn't someone mention on her they made or purchase brackets to move the front fairing and stay? I want to put a firebolt front end on my R and don't want to mod the fairing stay. I figure brackets would be the way to go. |

Brackets would be the way to go if you did not want to mess with the fairing stay. Don't think anyone has made the brackets yet, just mentioned if they did it again thats what they would do. It really is not that hard of a job to grind down the stay a bit and using brackets would push the nose out a good 1.5 inches I would think. Might not bother some but the whole reason I did the firebolt mod was to get the fairing low and tight to the rest of the bike. I just finished doing this for a second time to a buddy's CR and like I said, it really isn't that bad. |

I know that someone fabricated brackets to move the stock 1125 upper fairing. I don't recall weather it was to move the fairing up or forward. I can't seem to find it in the search engine either. |
