I purchased a set of black Uly pegs for a wider/lower peg height. From my research, it seems they just "swap right in". However, the mounting part of the Uly pegs is actually about 1/8in smaller in height. Unless I use some type of spacer, the pegs are loose and can move up and down (well, not when my feet are on them I suppose). What is the best remedy for this- a couple washers I guess? My second question regards the inside of the handlebar ends (high bars). Seems there is some type of "step" or double wall inside them. I have a set of CRG mirrors mounted with CRG adapters now, but they just don't feel secure enough for my liking. I am actually ordering a set of Oberon barend turn signals with the built-in mirror adapters soon. Should I just measure the ID of the bar and try and get some type of metal spacer for the this as well? Thanks so much for the help! SO happy to be on a Buell again (#5 so far)!! |

I have them on both bikes just put them on and don't worry about it mine move when I really pull on them but have never moved when I am riding I had to drill the bars out to get the throttle misters to fit so I can't give you a answer to that one maybe some one else can Mike |

The foot-pegs have a spring in the pivot. Assembled with the spring, mine haven't moved in 20k+ miles.
I started with silver pegs at around 3k miles, changed to black ones later.. MUCH better grip. I have an "R" and no trouble with generic Jap bar-ends.
I used the generic's guts and turned my own ends. Z |
