I'm at 15,000 miles on my cr and I know I need to check the valves but I just don't have the time. I'm wondering if anyone here knows someone with experience doing this job that I can trust to do mine. I'm pretty over Harley dealers so I'm either looking for an independent shop or even someone in their garage. Any recommendations? |

Im over in encinitias, wish I could help but I have kids, wife, job... I barely have time to ride once or twice a month! I def do not trust harley dealers here. I tried to use the service dept at Biggs when my bike was under warranty. major mistake |

I did mine about a year ago. It's pretty easy. I pulled the frame off when I did it, made it way easier to get to everything. I'm stationed at Miramar, so I have access to the auto hobby shop. They have all the tools. I also have a case of 10mm shims. Shoot me a PM and we can go from there. |

Semper Fi!! I work at MALS 16. Yes, it's a supply squadron for helicopters. But I still get plenty of time crawling all over the birds trying to fix what someone else has broken. I'm sure that being attached to a training squadron, there were broken parts laying all over the place... Hahaha |
