I put the new pipe on and it sounds amazing! but there is a noise that i never noticed before i put the pipe on. I'm guessing its just because the exhaust drowns out the engine noise i used to hear and all that is left i didn't notice before. IDK tell me what you think http://youtu.be/2ZRp0yaZx0g |

Sounded normal to me, but I'll give another listen when I get home with some better speakers. Just listened to it again, yes, it sounds like mine does at 32k miles. (Message edited by d_adams on August 27, 2013) |

Thank you Dean! You truly do have the best customer service and products. The noise I am referring to sounds to me as metal on metal, only really at idle |

It just sounds like normal drivetrain noise and badass muffler to me. |

EBR ECM idle is set about 1250-1500, I believe i read that some where. or i just made it up either way thats about where it idles and it sounds 1 zillion times better than with the higher idle. now it sounds like a hot rod with a radical cam! oh and i love it |

I think I set my hot idle at about 1250 rpm a few years ago. It definitely changed the way it sounds, much more lumpy. |

you are just hearing more of the valve train coming out of the pipe(s). The more exotic the exhaust system the more you will hear this. I heard one of the new Ferrari's at PIR! OMG! |

Yeh and IMO if the idle is too low the oil pressure is also low. Thats usually the reason they set idles where they do. |

Then that would have been operator induced failure, the hard rev limit is 11k rpm. |

So glad you posted this. I've heard the same noise and I really noticed it after my exhaust swap. Glad to know she's not going to blow apart on me tomorrow. |
