Well... Due to some unexpected difficulties with a new suspension setup, I did not get to do the test I wanted. However, I did run used US Dunlop soft rear, med front slicks and even more used Bridgstone soft and med that I had, back to back and IMHO the Bridgstones are equally sticky, turn in great, hold a tight line and last at least 3 times longer. The Bridgstone front is especially great. Admittedly, I am about 6 seconds off the pro race pace on this track, but that is not due to the tires... yet. |

Appreciate the report. I'm currently running Pirelli and have an experienced tuner telling me the Bridgestones are the tire of choice for the 1125R. |

Pirellis are sticky, but they don't last and I've never been comfortable with the feel. Give the Bridgestones a try. I think you'll be pleased. I sometimes run the rear 1 or 2 lbs under the 28lbs recommended, depending on track temp and speed. You will be amazed at how long they last. They make two versions of the front. One is rounder, one is more V shaped. I like the V shape. It's the YCY model. (Message edited by Rodrob on August 20, 2013) |

Two votes for the Bridgestones is enough for me. I'll give them a try and will reply back with my impressions in a few weeks. |
