Thought I would share this with the group. Something worth following, if any of you are intersted. Emailed Buell-parts.com about the Typhon and subsequent upgrades and got this response from Jens at NCCR. "Norbert from buell-parts.com forwarded your message about the Typhon parts. I am the original man behind the Typhon project. The actual radiator solution we use on that bikes is much too expensive because it is based on the spanish Taledo (GP supplier) pods EBR let make there for the 1190R. We started a budget version of the conversion last winter but could not finish it before the season started here in Sweden and now we are too busy to finish it. As we already got 2 Typhon conversion orders for next winter, we are planning to continue the development of the radiator kit in October and hope (again…) to have it available around end of this year. The target price of the radiator kit is app. 2500 Euro and will enclose, 2 x radiators, 1 x oilcooler, expansiontank, mounting hardware, sidecovers and bellypan in fiberglas. Regarding the exhaust, the projects use the very expensive EBR race exhaust, we might come up with a own solution over winter, but that’s behind the radiators scheduled. If you have further questions, I will try to answer it. Thanks for your request and best regards" Jens Jens Krüper www.nccr.se |

Have not heard a word. I know that Jens said they were extremely busy so I am sure thats got something to do with it. It may be too that with the new EBR bikes out, they are waiting a little. Not totally sure. Sorry. Maybe give them a inquiry at the site attached to the first post and see what they say and then post it. |
