I tried a search for this, but could not match my problem exactly. I have a 2010 CR w ca. 6000 miles. At about 150 miles of riding, I start to have serious fueling problems. The bike stutters, bucks like a bronco, and ultimately after 20 min of this will stall out. If I reach my destination and let it rest overnight, everything is fine the next day (well for the first 100 mi or so). I think it has something to do with heat. Worst w air temps around 90F and when I get stuck in traffic. Thoughts? Fix?

the contents of the tank are likely getting warm and the volume is quite low, My '25 is going to show the low fuel light at 160 mi.
so the buckin is likely loss of fuel to the pump....

My Best guess YMMV

Are you saying you get 250ish miles out of a tank of fuel?

Clarification: I only get about 125 miles on a tank of fuel. So, I have already stopped and refilled tank. Sorry, the reference to 150 miles might have just as easily been referred to as 3 hours of riding. Problem seems to occur after a certain amount of time/miles. Thus, why I think it is heat related.

What is the tach doing when the bike stutters? Not sure what the 1125 uses for a crank position sensor, but that is one of the things I'd be checking if this was an XB or Tuber.

what if my tach needle is not real steady, it wavers a few hundred RPM around the 5500 range. Is that normal or would that have something to do with CPS which I am assuming is where it picks up its signal from?

@Ohbuellman-
California bike? Check your evap canister, make sure that system's not clogged, screwing up the frank venting/fuel pressure. Cali bikes have a reclamation canister or something, everyone else has vent line coming off the top of the frank, across the airbox, back through the seat section and exits behind the left passenger peg. On hot days the fuel boils in the tank, the excess comes out of this tube. If this system is clogged/blocked it will cause problems.
