Hi guys,

I just picked up an 1125R.

It didn't have a manual, but I thought, no worries, I'll use the one they link to on BWB. Well, alas, it appears that that one links out to dead links for things like suspension settings charts.

I know this bike is sensitive to suspension changes, and right now, it doesn't want to lean over at all, so I'm eager to get the suspension right.

Should I hit up my harley dealer and see if I can order an owners manual, or do you guys know where I could grab a pdf with all the charts etc intact?

Thanks =)

I pulled this from another new guy post I did, it should be enough to set up suspension without the manual.

This video is by a Buell tech and tells you all the adjusters, and how to adjust them.

This link is to Sport Rider magazine's recommended suspension settings. Use these settings as a baseline in place of the manual's settings. (since I don't know them) Note that they recommend sliding the forks down in the clamps to ease the rake/trail figures. I would leave that stock until you sort everything else out, and then try that last.

Also, if you told me what you weigh, and asked really nice, I may be persuaded to give you the settings from my own manual.

This last link is the golden goose, the gift that keeps on giving, black gold, texas tea, the fruitcake you never finish eating.... Sport Rider's total and complete guide to suspension setup. Once you get a baseline and become comfortable with that, and decide it's time to experiment, use this. Get a pad and paper, and a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. This is no less important than changing oil or keeping fresh rubber on. There's a wealth of info here.
