Hey guys, Was wondering if anyone has a used steering dampner for a 1125 cr? Have never used one so I don't want to buy a new one just in case I don't like it. Let me know thanks |

I think a GPR will be your only real option. |

The CR is difficult -- I'm not sure you can mount the EBR parts on that bike. I am not a fan of the GPR damper, at least based on the two bikes I've ridden with it. Even at it's lightest settings, it's quite "thick", and I think too much damping, especially for ordinary street use. Unless you are getting a lot of headshake on the brakes, I would try other things before I put the GPR on my bike. When I had a CR, I would use it to teach on with RideSmart without issue. I raised the front until 9mm showed on the fork tubes above the stock triple clamp, and that seemed to help slow down the steering enough and stabilize the bike. Also important with those wide CR bars is to not be putting unintentional input into them on the gas. It's pretty easy to do, and if your concern is what is happening on the gas, this could easily be the cause. |
