Has anyone messed with these lips. I believe that the 99' R1 one (from the website) looks like it would be a good fit. They do make one for the CR, but not one for the R version. Do they really help?

I can't speak for the Buell, but I have one on my Triumph. Great fit, makes the bike look a bit better, and deflects the air better than the stock fly screen alone.

i have one on my CR. it works well enough and makes long freeway jaunts tolerable.

the best part is it's removable so the bike doesnt have to look so dorky all the time.

Check out Zero Gravity, they have 2 or 3 w/s taller and one same height as "R" - OEM.
