I just finished putting the EBR modified rotor in my 2010 1125CR. The bike only had 3,200 miles on it and had the HD harness fix on from new. The original stock stator was performing perfectly and looked like new when I got the ignition cover off so I left it in place. Upon reassembly, I removed the HD harness fix.
I have had the bike out on a couple of rides and so far all is well.
Now, the questions are: Will the stock stator and voltage regulator hold up to the heat along with the EBR oil jet modified rotor or do I risk a stator failure and the need to install a more hi-temp resistant re-wound stator and/or voltage regulator in the near future? thanks for any opinions- Mort

Erik said, when the oil-jet mod came out, that it dropped stator temp by 50 degF.
Sounds like your stator is in great shape and running cooler it should last a good long time.

From all I have seen and heard, I would ditch the harness mod and enjoy the extra power.
Ride her hard.

IMO, ditch the harness.
