The last couple of times I accelerated hard for longer than 5 seconds or so, I got a CEL and Low Fuel Pressure error message showed up. Is it the fuel pump or something else? This morning when it came on I had about 100 miles on this tank and avg range is 160 miles when the lfl comes on. I did not notice loss of power or acceleration. Bike is an 1125R and has 43k miles, EBR ECM, rt3 exh, kn filter, and all lights are led/ headlights are HID. New battery back in January. Thanks for the help.

Pyro - was it low fuel level or Low Fuel pressure? Go into diag and check your codes to confirm.

If it's low fuel level then don't sweat it. If it's low fuel pressure and it noticeably stumbles then you'll probably want to run through the pump diagnostics in the service manual.

I can't remember the last time I didn't have a cel with the fuel light on. Never goes off on my '08 1125 with 14,000 miles.

it was low fuel pressure, did it again today, was going down a long deserted straight and saw CEL and read out low fuel pressure on the display, happened after exiting a turn in second gear opened it up and about the time i was letting off i was in third or fourth gear and looked down and noticed it, however when riding normal I don't get the CEL or message, and diagnostic mode closes when you put it in gear so I cant monitor fuel pressure while i'm riding

Check your vent hose at the throttle body. If you "Google Buell 1125r Forum" at the top of this page, type in "vent hose" and find the thread that deals with this issue.

If you disconnect the VSS(speed sensor) you can run in Diag Mode.

What I find interesting is Loretta is down 15-20 HP on the dyno and I was thinking fuel pump.
Wondering now as I haven't seen a "low fuel pressure" warning.
