I just went to school on this, the conversation started out with anodizing, ceramic coatings and then I was introduced to DLCs. wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond-like_carbon what could this technology do on a bike? My first thought was some of the camshaft stories I have seen posted here. IDK. |

Used in engine parts as well. Rotax solved early 1125r piston pin wear problems with DLC on the piston pins. |
