Has anyone tried this on the 1125CR? I am thinking about getting one.
If so, how was the install?
Does it block any of the view of the digital dash readout?
Does it work well?
Does it make it hard to get the airbox cover off for service?
thanks, Mort

Works great. Doesn't really block the view. It's more behind it. Is kind of a pain to remove the mount to get the airbox cover off. I worry about that screw going into the frame.

It has saved my ass more than once, so for me it is worth it.

My high-bar CR would start weaving at 90mph, after fitting the damper rock steady to at least 140. In my 40+ years riding and 70-some bikes, this blew my mind how much it helped. I use setting #6 out of 20. All it needs.

I hated the GPR V4 (F)? Made the bike unsteady at any speed under 100+. I didn't even like how it cornered. Just one mans opinion!
I thought it was a waist of money and danger to use on street. I sold mine just after 2months. I bought it used. I sent it in, to have it rebuilt with a lighter oil. Still sucked, go with the EBR!

Must have for track riding. Easy installation. Takes less than a minute to unscrew mount to get to the airbox. Don't know what issues 1125rcya had, but there is a little time to adjust to additional steering effort. Keep in mind it only works with the standard triple clamp! If you are thinking about getting the ebr clamp, then you will need the ebr damper.

I like the EBR damper. The radial ones always seem to have a "loose" spot in them near the center.

The EBR part is really nice.

Jdugger,

Does the EBR damper work on the CR?
I was under the impression it did not fit.

In street trim, I'm not sure. I don't know the front-end differences of the CR that well.

The EBR solution clamps to the fork leg between the clamps, so that should not be an issue. And, it secures to the chassis just in front of the steering stop, "between" the clamps, where access may be an issue on the CR.

I'd have to look.

Even on the 'r', you have to remove one of the plastic wiring harness guides.

I just like the linear type dampers a lot better.

I have the GPR and haven't noticed a loose spot. Nothing but positives. Works as it should.
