So, I know I saw something about what I'm asking now but I can't find it.
So as you probably know I have an XB tail on my 1125CR. I need the battery with same power but smaller. I can't find what is the power of original batter... Ah, CRANK? I'm watching SHORAI LFX14L2-BS12.
Or I need to take one with more power.... LFX18L1-BS12, or this isn't enough either?

I run dual xenon, heated grips and auxiliary leds 30W

This is what Yuasa recommends -

http://www.yuasabatteries.com/battery.php?bID=B200 &vID=3569

It lists the CCA as 200 amps etc ...

Only two questions...
For all are known the 1125 electric charging system problems, so it's wise to install a LifePo battery?
I know that lithium is very sensible to charge down/over voltage, so this batteries will last? or will die in less than a year?

The way that Lithium batteries seem to be burning up everywhere you turn these days, I'm not sure I'd want one of them on my bike right now. I could be wrong, but I think the advantages of a few less pounds don't outweigh the extra costs of a torched bike.

For racing, it's nice upside. That's a lot of weight saved high up in the tail for not much money.

I have to replace mine every couple of years, but I still think it's worth it.

I use a stocker battery that's original from my 2008 machine (!) on my teaching bike.

Thank you for the informations,

So the Shorai LFX14L1 would be just fine, right? Or should I go with Shorai LFX18L1?

Do I also need charger or the battery will last at least 2 or 3 years?

I just wanted to order LFX14L1 but even the salesman said I should take LFX18L1, why. Isn't the 14 strong enough? It's even stronger then original one?

The LFX18L1-BS12 is what is recommended on the Shorai website -

That's odd, last month shorai was recommending the LFX21L6-BS12.

I wonder why they changed their minds.

Yes I saw what Shorai recommend but I don't understand why, since original battery is 200cca and 12Ah, and LFX14L1 is 210cca and 14Ah.
Am I missing something?

Call Shawn Higbee at Shorai and ask him we abused one for days last year at Daytona and never charged it Only charging was when the bike was running.
