Dan, I like that also; it seems more in the air stream then the one I did below, and many others have also, but it does get a little more air into the air box. Just remove the rubber boot around the fuel filler and replace with a mesh to keep bugs out.

I dunno about grab handles. Its a good idea for some crash protection after removing those heavy pegs. I am happy to see the 1125 still getting some love in the press. Not sold on the exhaust. I just prefer upswept exhausts, like so many already out there (Drummer, EBR, FMF, Keda, etc). Like all 1125's, despite the pods, it cuts a mean looking profile. Maybe I am just biased. |

I put handles like that on Loretta in 08. I use them to anchor a tail-bag.

you get an article in kneeslider for that? i should have sent them my pics 3 years ago: opening the airbox like those guys did it results in loss of power, they should prove it with dyno-charts and as far as i can see that, is that ram-air thing just a cover, there is no air going through that thing unless they punched holes in that frame (tank), what they didn't do. 40 pounds, i might doubt that. the mask/headlight is ok. Whaaaaa? Looks normal to me...the rear caliper on the 1125s is mounted inboard- bolted directly to the swingarm. Erik decided all the XB guys needed to stop buying calipers and chunks of billet from other clients, so he designed it to fit the need of the tinkerers |

There is a kit to mount the caliper behind the swingarm |

The reason I asked is kind of simple (dumb, maybe): I couldn't see the rear brake hose (on mine, it runs below the swingarm, so you can see it). |

I wouldn't say it was dumb at all. It certainly looks a lot cleaner than mine, or any that I've seen- especially the one here: http://images.motorcycle-usa.com/PhotoGallerys/08_ 1125R_C10.jpg That puppy looks suspiciously unfinished for a photo shoot |
