Ive been looking at pictures of the Hero Racing 1190 bike. Does anybody know what exhaust they are running? It looks pretty cool... I hope its not a one off deal. |

It should be the same as the Amsoil 1190. That exhaust is unfortunately kinda a one off deal. That 1190 exhaust has a straight front header unlike the 1125. I was able to order one and I posted it many months ago http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/ 678363.html?1336139711 I emailed Michael Richter and paid a visit to EBR in March of 2012. I was on orders in Indiana and drove up one friday. The exhaust is made by Chris Tullet Exhaust and was not in stock. Michael had me email him on the date they arrived. I placed my order and about a week later I had my exhaust. The exhaust will not just bolt on to the 1125 some modification is required. I had to cut a peice off the oil cooler mount so there would be enough clearance for the exhaust. I rerouted some wires and hoses a different direction to avoid the front header. The original oil cooler can't really be reused because there is very little space left because of the header. I am going to adapt the XB race oil cooler from twin motorcycles to fit my need. I am also making my own silicone hose kit, which is a pain in itself. Many people would not go through the trouble I am going through, but I want to make my bike stand out from the rest so to me its worth it. I have not posted any pics because I cant figure out how to upload them LOL but I want 2. Right now my bike is still in pieces its just an engine and swing arm, I'm slowly getting all my custom parts. |

Rob - You don't have to go through all the extra work of the straight header that is designed for the 1190 and 1125RR on your 1125. http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/models/1125r/ 1125-race-exhaust-kit.html I have this on my race bike. Great setup. Loud, but a good loud.

If you have had an issue with the stator failign while riding you need to log it at NHTSA. |

Bodywork is Catalyst Racing Composites. They also have available street upper. I would assume that it would work as long as the Drummer doesn't sit too low. Though it looks as it would be ok. Also, you have to create your own mounting brackets, so you can work those properly to make it fit. |

99- thanks, Yeah I know about making the brackets(not to concerned about that) But keep hearing that none of the belly pans work with the drummer. |

Zac: Thanks for the help. I sent you a pm so I can get your email address. Rob: I agree with you about not having to go through the trouble making the 1190 exhaust fit my 1125. It is honestly a personal thing, I never liked the way the old exhaust looked. I am Veeeerrrrrrry OCD about things like this, all the toy's I own have a ME touch to them I am an Armorer for Naval Special Warfare, and I give the same treatment to every weapons I touch, and own. I just cant settle for stock performance, there is always room for improvement. Off topic: If any one is in the San Diego area and would like a tour of my armory I would be more than happy to show you around. |
