Well, the fuel pump went bad, so I replaced it. Then the speedometer stopped working - found that the VSS wires were resting against the the exhaust pipe and had melted together. Repaired the wires. Now, when I activate the left turn signal, it works just fine. But if I activate the right turn signal, the right rear comes on, but the LEFT FRONT comes on! In my 4 years turning wrenches at a Harley Davidson shop, I never saw an issue like that! I'm sure I pinched some TS wires in the tail section, or in the fairing while installing the HID lights. HOpefully I'll find a shorted wire somewhere, sometime soon. Once you start wrenching, you can never stop! After I fix this, it'll be the brakelight or headlights or something off the wall, i'm sure!! On the bright side, I am still in love with this machine! |

17,000 miles and $17,000 dollars I bailed on her. But I still LOVE HER. I just don't own her anymore. Can't stop missing her tho (Message edited by Guard_rail on February 04, 2013) |
