Somewhere I saw a video of how to remove the Charging Harness, anyone know where that video went? Looked pretty easy.. Thanks for any help.. |

Just disconnect the stator connector from the harness, and disconnect VR from the harness, then connect VR directly to the stator connector. |

Got it.. Thanks guys.. Replaced my VR already but didn't disconnect the harness and my battery didn't seem to be getting charged.. Hopefully this will help the charging issue..? Thanks again |

I watched the voltage readout of my 2009 1125CR during idle on the digital dash and it stays between 13.7 and 14.0. Does that mean I do or do not have the recall sub harness. The HD Vin data says the charging system recall was done by the prior owner. How can I tell for sure? I do have the EBR rotor on hand and the locking tool is on the way. Will see how the stator looks when I get it apart. Still trying to decide if I should change the VR and if I do, what type to get. Appreciate any advice. thanks Mort |
