Okay, I'll admit it--I haven't changed out my 1125R's brake master cylinder because I don't like the pee cup reservoir and I like having matching brake and clutch master cylinders. The Hayabusa masters are an option--matching and integrated reservoirs--but the brake master isn't a radial so I'm not sure if that's enough of an upgrade to be justifiable. Can anyone recommend a clutch and brake master cylinder combo (that I can buy used from another bike--IE not as expensive as new Brembo units, for example) that will match? I guess I'll probably have to go with the pee-cup reservoirs, so if there aren't any good integrated master cylinder combos available, I'll probably go the pee-cup route. Thanks! |

Ive wanted to move to radial MCs on both sides, but not really wanted to pay $300 a pop for the Brembo deals. Interested to see what works on a Buell with the stock clip-ons. |

check out my posts. Most nissin mc from yam/suz/kaw will work. Pee cups don't bother me. Lack of performance does. Get the radial mc and you won't regret it. There are some fancy CNC pee cups you can use too! Will |

OK, they have cups but they can be changed for something more aesthetically pleasing - http://www.braketech.com/index.php?option=com_cont ent&view=article&id=84&Itemid=101 |

That Beringer MC is really nice looking but at $592, I might need to sell a kidney to justify buying it. Lospice, are there any bikes you've come across that have hydraulic masters for clutch and brake, that would work well for the 1125? |

check ebay, type in radial master and pick what you want. 20x18 or 19x18 for brake and i will have to check on the clutch ratios. i got one that was wrong and took a lot of pull force. i like the Accosatos from EBR. tim |

Jdugger, those look nice but they're Brembo so I'm sure they're pricey. And I guess you had to fab up your own mounts for the reservoirs? Smoke, I'll have a look again on Ebay. Thanks! |

The Brembo bits are about $350/side. The brake is absolutely worth it -- what an upgrade! I went with the clutch side just to have them match when I could no longer use the OEM MC because of clip-ons. I need a new picture of my res cups -- I've got them set up a little better now. And, yes, I made my own little res holders, but there are lots of commercial options that aren't so expensive. |
